    While using the Avia Layout Builder content and images keep getting deleted after revisions are made? t updates the first time… But when I go and revise the section of content / images and hit update the whole section deletes. Please advise how to fix this or what could be happening

    Hi alexbanaga!

    Are you using the latest version of Enfold, 3.2.3, and all plugins are deactivated while testing?

    Is it happening in all pages or just a certain page? If it’s just a specific page then try deleting & recreating the page to see if it happens again.

    Hello Elliott,

    Yes – I’m using the most up to date version of Enfold.

    For now its seems to be only happening on 1 page. I thought about deleting the page and re-creating it just didnt
    want to lose all the work – I’ll try that and get back to you if it doesn’t work

    Hello…

    The issue is still happening…

    I deleted the page and re-created it but once again when I edit the page I lose all previous changes. I dont know if
    this is happening on my other pages. Im afraid to mess with it and lose the work already put in.

    Here is the URL:

    The page I’m currently working on is “Speakers”

    As you can see there is only 1 speaker icon showing… I had up to 8 as is shown via the Welcome page. When I add all the speakers and save it will update fine… But when I go in to modify text or add other elements and save everything gets undone and erased – Leaving me to start from scratch as is shown now on the page.

    Im providing the login so you can test it out yourself and see what the problem is:

    Hi,

    You had an unclosed strong tag there, please make sure to close the tags when adding markup. It’s working fine now, please review the Speakers page.

    P.S When posting details to your site please use the Private Content section, it will be displayed publicly otherwise. I edited your post but I would recommend you to change user/pass anyway.

    Hello,

    Thanks for the fix… What is an unclosed strong tag and how did it happen… I just created a new page and started adding content – Not sure how this happened… Can you briefly explain how it happened just in case it reoccurs in the future?

    How do I close tags when adding markup… Can you also explain this in laymen terms..

    This is crazy… Its still doing it.

    I add elements and hit update – It saves

    When I add more elements and re-save it erases my previous changes… I didnt do anything
    but drag and drop media images and headers text.

    I included my login credentials in the private content below

    Hey!

    If your typing out HTML then all of the tags need to be closed or it’s going to mess up the editor and the frontend. Please read this, http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_elements.asp.

    I am not doing any html whatsoever – I am using the avia drag and drop builder… Im just drag and dropping elements and its causing the issue

    Hi,

    You or someone must have added that because there was an open strong tag in a header and the builder cannot do that, please let us know if you should have any further problems.

    Hey Rikard,

    I am the only one making changes to the site… I just drag and drop elements and have not messed with the code whatsoever… Can you send me a screenshot of where the open strong tag in a header is located and how you find it…

    Not sure why this is happening… I will log in now and continue to build… Ill let you know if it happens gain. but please let me know where you’re finding this open tag

    I just made modifications to the SPEAKERS page – Did not code – Just drag and dropped elements from the builder.

    I now cannot add any elements below the GREG S. REID image and if I attempt to add anything else to the page and hit update/save it will erase most of my bottoms section.

    I did not do anything else in the code, nobody else is modifying or using the site… Why is this continuing to happen?

    We’ve given you the reason to why this is happening, maybe it would be a good idea to check if you did the same mistake again?
