Hello,

- Until yesterday I had no problems with javascript. But now my slider on homepage and my portfolio don't work anymore : they don't show any picture. It's crazy !
In fact everything related to javascript doesn't work. How can I can fix that ? I posted this in another old topic where it was explained to put permission 755 on the 2 folders wp-content and wp-include. Is that the solution or is there anything else wrong ?

- I'd like also to create a sidebar widget and a sidebar footer widget showing a list of links, which are the posts titles of a defined category from my portfolio. Is that possible ?

Hey,
can you post a link to your website please. Maybe your problem is plugin related (i.e. js conflict?)

Hello,

Yes it was plugin related ! I desactivated plugins except one that put trouble : Enhanced Search Box.
By the way, would you know another good search plugin that wouldn't create problems as this one ?

And to you have the answer to my 2nd question ? Is it possible to show that kind of lists and how to make it ?

1) Yes - Relevanssi is a good search plugin: Relevanssi - the support is great and the author offers an affordable premium version.

Thanks for the suggestions.
'Custom Post Type List Widget' is what I'm looking for, except one important thing : you can't select the category. For example, on my site, I have several Portfolio categories. I'd like to display the titles from one category I've choosen, and not from the whole Portfolio.

Is there any similar plugin that let you do that ?

Thanks but this one shows only the name of the categories and doesn't show a list of the items contained in the category.
In fact 'Custom Post Type List Widget' is almost OK but you can't apply a filter on categories : it shows all the portfolio items.

I looked for another plugin while I was waiting for your answer but I start becoming a little bit disapointed.

Mmmm....I couldn't find a good one either. Some just list the taxonomies, others just list categories or show posts from categories but not taxonomies... I think it's possible to rewrite this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/list-category-posts/ so that it can list portfolio posts but at the moment I don't have enough time to do it.
