    2 week ago or so I updated to version 3.6. I thought everthing worked fine but now I realised that the slider on the frontpage changed its position. I think it’s something with the padding (former space between slider-image and top-border of the blue area was 55px, at the bottom 35px (I installed a backup of the site with wp 3.5 on my local server to see the differences) and maybe I could fix it myself but as there is still another problem I decided to ask. As you can see:

    after fading in, the new slider-image moves down approximately 25px. I’m not shure, but the black shadow seems to be in the wrong place too.

    Hopefully awaiting a solution.

    Please add this at the very bottom of style.css

    .slideshow.aviaslider {
    margin-top: -100px;

    Did you add any plugin prior to the issue? Please deactivate them. I’m not sure but there are lots of cufon elements.

    Hi Ismael,

    thanks for the hint with the cufon elements. It was not a plugin. I had made a change to the header.php. For some reason I added the id “#wrapper_featured_area” to the variable $applyCustomFontTo. I fixed it, removed your recommended style definition and everything works fine again.

    Thanks for your help.

    Glad Ismael could help. Let us know if you have any other questions or issues.
