thanks for the excellent theme!
I can't figure out how to set up the 3 product categories on the bottom of the homepage - the 3 images that link to the category pages.
I can set up 3 columns in the template builder, but displaying product categories is not an option there.
Help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Thomas,
Its a couple of things combined to create that effect. You'll need to create three pages to act as holders for the image you want to show and its link. For each page, just add the image into the featured media and then set the Link to be the URL of your desired product category. Then set that page to be displayed with "Only preview image" for the column.

thank you for your suggestion, but still I need automated categories grid at my first page. Woocommerce has it by default but I want to add more items at my frontpage.
Simply, I want to show some of my categories/subcategories on frontpage and visitors can go inside the category and see related products.
It is not easy to create a page for every category of products.
PS. It is product's category not Blog's post's category.

I am trying to do the same thing!
i.e. easily display categories on the home page without having to create custom pages for each. You can set a category image so shouldn't it be easy to implement into the theme a way of using categories on the home page?
Note: I am using propulsion theme, but same thing really...
