    Hello,

    I am setting up the store on the abundance site and I am having difficulty setting up the different categories as their own pages.

    On the home page there are three images below the slider for features which I am using to advertise the three main shop categories. However when I create a page related to this home page feature image and set the page template as the ‘store’ in the template builder it only lists all of the products in the store and I want it to only list the products related to the category I am creating.

    I’ve read through the information on grouped products on woocommerce but I just cant seem to work this one out.

    Any ideas??

    thank you.

    HI Julie,

    I think if you try the “category product widget” in woocommerce widget options available when editing pages it should work.

    Is it possible to take the search box off the top of the site as it is searching the blog and I dont have one.

    for the search box: go to themes-editor, than in the right panel you have “header(header.php)”, search for

    /*

    * display the theme search form

    * the tempalte file that is called is searchform.php in case you want to edit it

    */

    get_search_form();

    ?>

    <ul class=”social_bookmarks”>

    and comment the entry: get_search_form(); so it should look like that:

    /*

    * display the theme search form

    * the tempalte file that is called is searchform.php in case you want to edit it

    */

    //get_search_form();

    ?>

    <ul class=”social_bookmarks”>

    then save and refresh your website.

    if you want it back, just do the reverse – uncomment the “//get_search_form();” delete the “//” and you have the search form back

    For the categories, you have to be more specific: you could link the images to the absolute url to the specific product-category, you don’t have to make separate pages for categories: there is a difference between the default categories in wordpress which are blog related categories, and the product-categories in woocommerce which is related to shop categories. anyway, you could link anything to anything in this template, just play with the options

    How did you manage to set multiple product pages. I want to do a similar thing on a cheese e-commerce site i am setting up, and don’t just want to use the product categories filter on the main shop page
