    Hello,

    I’m adding banner images to the category pages…they sit right under the title and thus, the product category title needs to be repositioned. I just need to move the category title/page-title of the categories left (using margin-left), but it also moves the title of the main shop page, which needs to stay where it is.

    I’ve researched and researched a solution for this, but can’t find anything specific to modifying the product category page title only without also moving the ‘shop’ page title. I’ve tried using product_category ID and the following in some form, #top.woocommerce, page-title, .cufon-active #top .cufon_headings, .title_containert h1, etc., but nothing is working.

    Thanks -

    Hi,

    Can you give us a link to your site?

    Hello,

    Hi, are you talking about the archives: category view? Try to apply the left margin to this element.

    .category.archive .page-title.meta-color {
    }

    Ismael

    I don’t have a link to site yet to give you, but yes, talking about the category title in the Abundance theme for the shop…product category title. The above didn’t work. The element.style in Firefox is:

    element.style {

    height: 35px;

    left: -14px;

    top: -6px;

    width: 183px;

    }

    Changing that left margin works, but of course, I don’t have the right css class, and I want the category page title to move and NOT the main shop/catalog page title. Is it possible? I thought if I could single it out using the category ID, but I can’t get that to work either.

    thanks for your help -

    Hi,

    Please save the html of the page to pastebin.com, and if you can do a screen capture and illustrate what needs to be moved and where, I will quickly assist you. Unfortunately I usually guess it wrong most of the time.

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Hello,

    I can show you the images below…will this suffice? The ‘collection’ photo is the main shop page and the ‘dinnerware’ photo is showing the category. I removed the thumbnail image on the category page (this image normally sits to the left of the page title). I’ve removed it since I’ve added a banner image below and it would be redundant to keep it. (I may have to keep it, however).

    Since it’s removal, the ‘dinnerware’ page title needs to be left justified now, but in doing so, it would move the ‘collection’ page over too, so I am just looking to move the category pages only.

    Thanks for anything you can suggest.

    Hi,

    I am sorry, you removed images that sit normally to the left of title? By using css to cover it up or removing a section of code? Please show us the code, otherwise this will not be very effective and I want to make sure we do our best to find a solution

    Thanks,

    Nick

    Yes, all I did was remove the thumbnail with css…that’s all the code that was modified, nothing else:

    .category_thumb {display:none !important;}

    Now the page-title needs to be moved over, if possible.

    Thanks -

    Hi,

    This will work:

    .title_container_image {padding-left: 10px} /*was 50px before */

    Thanks,

    Nick

    It does…thanks! I was leaving out the _image.
