    I am uploading product images of the size

    * 662 x 927

    On the home page in the product section they are getting cropped to

    * 450 x 355 (The actual image used in a 5 column layout is smaller, but the source when I check in Firebug is this crop)

    I can’t seem to find where this crop is happening as it makes my images look really bad as it chops of the top and bottom.

    How can this be fixed so it does not hard crop my images?

    Hi!

    You can change the slideshow/image dimensions in functions.php (I’d only adjust the height value). Afterwards regenerate the thumbnails with: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Dude,

    I am still having a really big problem with this.

    1) Somehow the theme is resizing and cropping my product images to 450 x 355

    ** I have searched the entire site for 355 and found it in the config file and changed it, I think it was in functions.php and changed it there also.

    However, somehow the thumbnail the products pull in when looking in “Category View” is still from an image-450×355.jpg

    ** I checked my upload folder and this image exists. i also checked via Firebug and this is the image it is getting in this view. After changing the 355 in config and functions I used the plugin to regenerate thumbnails and it still generates this cropped image!!! Why?

    ** I have also checked my WordPress settings to see if my media was set up to set up a thumb like this and it is not.

    This is totally screwing up my products as my products are proportioned differently. I want to have control over this so my image does not get cropped at the top and bottom and the viewers can’t see what it is.

    Can you please help me out here dude?
