    how can I do for “description” not to appear twice above the product description please?

    ie: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -by-paul-b

    many thanks

    I tried to view the site however I just see a “coming soon” page?

    hi Dude, oh yes, sorry it’s the maintenance page, hum well can I attach a screen capture?

    Yes – use services like:

    all right, so here is the capture: hope it helps to help…

    the first small “Description” is standard in the tabbed window and it would be rather strange to remove this. The bigger one can be found in

    wp-contentpluginswoocommercewoocommerce_template_functions.php on line 589.

    Remove this:

    $heading = apply_filters('woocommerce_product_description_heading', __('Product Description', 'woothemes'));
    if ($heading) echo '<h2>' . $heading . '</h2>';

    If, however you’d like to remove the tab – let us know.

    Hi Chris,

    thank you, I’ll try and let you know.

    it worked great, many thanks. I’d need to remove also the “complementary information” , “product review” and product name showing twice: could you tell me which lines are to be modified please?

    many thanks,

    Hi again,

    This one is done too,

    thank you,

    Good to see it solved!

    Hi Chris,

    Sorry to bother again regarding that item but I’d like to remove the tabs denominations “description” review and comment and just put a facebook like button on single product pages.

    Can you help me please?

    Thank you Sophie

    After the updates, “description/review/complementary information” appear twice again on single product pages.

    I tried to look for the line 589 in

    but couldn’t find what Chris said I should remove,

    can you tell me which lines I have to remove in order to get this appearing once?

    many thanks,

    kind regards,

    Hi Sophie,

    You can also achieve the same result with a but of css. Just as long as you aren’t using H2 text in the tab content areas this will do the trick. Add the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

    #tab-description h2 {
    display: none;
    #tab-attributes h2 {
    display: none;
    #tab-reviews h2 {
    display: none;

    Hi Devin,

    It works great thank you very much, but what if I want to use H2 text in some other tabs?

    Hi boudoirs,

    Just use other heading tags(h1, h3-h6) and style it using Quick CSS.
