   Hi there, just wondering how I can remover the "product/" or "product-category/" from the product/category permalinks?
   eg, http://www.shop.com/shirts/coolshirt instead of http://www.shop.com/product/shirts/coolshirt

   Hi,

   Have you considered using plugins like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/custom-permalinks/? Maybe they can give you a more control of your permalinks.

   Does the plugin support WooCommerce permalinks?

   Hi,

   It says "Set custom permalinks on a per-post, per-tag or per-category basis." Technically, products are posts. I think it is worth a try.
