Product sorting box visible on product category page

The product sorting box visible on product category page, which I don't want.
Not only is it visible, but it is outside of the flow. I put some page content to appear above the product categories, and the dropdown box sits on top of the text. I've temporarily added a break in the text, but I'm hoping for something a bit nearer to perfection.
This theme is fantastic ...

If you want it to disappear just add this on your custom.css

```
