Why the projects in the portfolio page are arranged in alphabetical order? You can set a personal order? I tried to put them in order by setting a date of publication progressive but does not work ..

For the same reason, how can I decide the order of pages in the main menu in the header of the site?

    Thank you, M

    Hi Marxian,

As far as I know, Angular sorts the portfolio items by publication date, not alphabetically. Can you give us a link to your site so we can try and troubleshoot for you?

As far as your second question, go to Appearance > Menus and you can drag/drop the menu items in the order you want.

I have noticed differences between the portfolio using the Templete Builder and the Portfolion in Theme Options.

With Template Buider there order is by date.

But If you set a page in Theme Options to use it as Portfolio, that page show items by alphabetical order.

I want to know how to change this order.

    Hi Mya,

unfortunately I am planning on site locally so I can not show anything online. Anyway, I tried the way suggested by ismasans, and confirm what he said. By setting up an “portfolio” using the template builder, projects have now returned to be displayed in date order.

I hope it can be helpful in some way ..

    Thanks, M

I can also confirm that using template builder makes it to where they are by post date/time and not alphabetical which is what I wanted!

Another question about the page portfolio, build with template-builder…

After creating a page portfolio through template builder, if I click on project to view the page in front end, it is loaded on the same page. Although I have set the display of the project in a new page, from angular theme options menu, under “portfolio”.

Why does this happen? Thanks, M

You have to change on the template builder not on the angular options > portfolio.
