    Hi

I am having trouble with the gallery option. I inserted a test gallery and the lightbox function is not working properly. When I click an image it goes to the single image page and then if you click that you get a lightbox but cannot scroll to the other images in the gallery. Also I can change the thumbnail ratio in the media settings, but cannot make the thumbnails bigger. Only the first word of the caption is showing under the thumbnail which doesn’t make sense. Here is the test gallery:

It would be awesome if the portfolio page had a lightbox option so I could create a gallery that way with a scroll through lightbox instead of going to the individual portfolio item.

I also tried nextGEN Gallery but it’s lightbox function overlapped with the theme lightbox and looked messy.

Please help me find a decent scroll-through thumbnail gallery option.

    Thanks so much

    David

    Hi,

You are using an old version of the theme (1.7) while the current version is 1.91.

Please log into themeforest.net using the account you’ve purchased the theme under and download the latest update. Please be aware that the update will overwrite every single theme file including custom.css , so make sure that you created a backup first. The best way to upgrade the theme would be via ftp, renaming your current propulsion them folder on our server and then uploading the newest version of the theme. If you have made customization to your templates, but are no longer sure exactly where, I’ve made a comprehensive video outlining the easiest way to solve that issue. https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B8hqGBMSfHtKRkJlN0pyNVNDSkk/edit?usp=sharing

Once you have the latest version running , everything should fall into place since a number of bugs were fixed.

    Thanks,

    Nick

Thanks, that’s very helpful. I updated the theme and nextGEN seems to be working properly. The only strange thing was that I was forced to install and activate. Buddypress and Woocommerce before I could access nextGEN Gallery.

    Thanks

    Hi!

If you don’t want to install “the required plugins” open up functions.php and delete:

require_once( 'includes/admin/register-plugins.php'); // register the plugins we need

    Regards,

    Peter
