Hi, I am looking to display Portfolio entry thumbs in the sidebar on one of my pages. I have been able to accomplish that by using the widget, however I would like the user to be able to click the image and view each slide that is linked to that particular portfolio. I browsed this support forum and have not been able to find a solution. Please advise. Thanks.

Hi bizfreak22,
If i'm understanding you correctly, you want the widget to show the entire slideshow for each entry shown?
If that is the case it would have to be added in as a new feature with a theme update as it isn't something we could guide you through via support.

I was under the assumption that the lightbox picked up all img files and it would have worked the way I needed it to when I purchased the theme. I found a messy workaround as of now, I am using the wordpress gallery shortcode and using css to hide the additional entrys, displaying only the thumbnail. Is there anything that can be done to expedite this? I can hack the template if need be just need some direction.

For the widget no. It just pulls the first image in the gallery and uses it as a static image link.
You could modify the widget itself, but as I said, it isn't something we could guide you through. Whether it gets added or not is up to Kriesi so an ETA isn't possible to give.

Ok, if I did not use the widget, is there another way to accomplish this?

I don't know what it is that you are trying to accomplish. If you can provide a link or screenshot and a little description we can definitely try and help.
