My client recently noticed that her portfolio items are not showing up well in searches. Posts are showing much higher. We have All in One SEO Pack installed and noticed that it does not work for portfolio items. Do you have any suggestions.

I have not updated the theme for a while but will in do so in the next week of so.

    Thanks very much

    Hi ashlandwebsites!

You can use this plugin to maximize the search power of your website: SearchWP

Refer to this link in order to integrate the plugin on ajax search: (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -standard-search/” rel=”nofollow”> (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -standard-search/

Thanks for the reply, but I was talking about SEO – search engine searches, not in-site searches. Is there a way to get All in One SEO Pack to work with portfolio items? Or is there another SEO plugin that will work for portfolio items. Or do you have other tips that would work to place keywords prominently in portfolio items.

I’m sorry I thought you’re talking about the search results. The common plugin use for SEO is You should probably try that.

    Best regards,

Hej David, could you make it work and did it change anything regarding SEO?
I am also in the process of deciding either to use the pages or portfolio for our offers – dependent on the SEO effect.

    Thanks! Good topic! :)

That only, can not work alone to produce result.
You should build a seo strategy, on how to work on it.
I would suggest giving a read to blog and to learn a lot more about SEO

    Best regards,

    Hi surfagency

The Yoast SEO plugin did work and allowed me to add SEO meta data to the portfolio posts. It is also my SEO plugin of choice for other reason.
