If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
The resizing capability of the Propulsion theme does not seems to be working on IE8, it is working fine on Chrome and Firefox. Are there any solution to this as IE is still one of the more popular browser?
Kriesi uses media-queries for his responsive framework and IE7,IE8 don’t support media-queries (css3 code). That’s why the resizing capability doesn’t fully work thwi IE8/7. However it won’t affect many users anyway because the resizing capability only makes sense if the display resolution is low (< 1024px) – I can’t imagine situations where users would use IE8 on a smart phone or on a 800px monitor.
is it possible to include e.g. this script in the theme to make media queries for IE7,IE8 availabe?
If yes, can you give instructions how to to this?
If not, can you give advice how to disable the rsponsive layout for IE7, IE8 completely? Now the navigation bar changes to the dropdown when resizing the window, but as no other elements get re-aranged this dosn’t make sense and just makes the layout look wrong/messy.
I’m looking forward to hearing from you.
