I am creating a post exactly like the help file states. However, my wordpress 3 installation does not have set thumbnail. it has featured image (but I know this is the same). My image will post as a thumbnail but it will not show on the hover. it will also not allow me to click the image and be taken to the post detail page. I imported your dummy content file and your gallery post will work. Example of issue here - http://visionboardvault.com/. Your dummy post is the second one which is working.

grrrrr.....

One more thing. The stars from the Ratings plugin look very jagged and not sharp. any ideas?

I visited your page and two of three posts work as expected (hover effect, link to full post). Only the left one seems to make problems. Maybe try to delete this post and create a new one. It's strange that only one post doesn't work but others do...

About the images - the can be found under wp-content/plugins/wp-postratings/images/stars/rating_on.gif - just replace it with an image of your choice....

OK, so I deleted the post which had problems. When I do this the second post (which was working) is now the first post and now has the same problem which I mentioned earlier.

It seems which ever post is number 1 is having issues.

Please advise. Thanks

I created a second site thinking the Install messed something up. Well, I created another WP site and installed your theme, I then imorted your dummy content. Same thing is happening: http://beta.visionboardvault.com/

-The first post is not showing the hover image and the URL the post is supposed to go to is the root domain and not the post URL.

-The first menu item should be 'About'. I have this as the first menu item in the admin but it will not show.

I have installed close to 55 themes in my past and this is by far the buggiest. Any help would be appreciated!

Hey,

Starting with http://visionboardvault.com/ - I just had a look at the site (using Safari / Firefox on Mac) and it seems to be working as it should (including the 1st post hover state working fine). Are you still getting this problem, and if so what browser / OS are you using?

If you disable your plugins (specifically the Facebook one which loads JS and could cause a conflict) does it work now?

2nd, http://beta.visionboardvault.com/ is currently using Twicet so I can't really test the first issue. Your "About" page is currently showing up in the navigation and the page works: http://www.harpermarketingco.com/about
