Can you help me understand the purpose and function of the blog overview template? My first guess was that it would automatically use post excerpts with 'read more" links but when I select it as the page template for my blog page it doesn't seem to do anything. Here's a link to the page: http://leapindevelopment.com/viewpoints/ . I will create my own excerpts if I have to but had hoped that the Overview would take care of that.
If you can explain what it does maybe I can find a use for it's true functionality.
