    I have installed , Qtranslate , but i can’t see qtranslate language chooser .

    I need the flag near the menu .

    Any help?

    Or any alternative?

    You can try WPML as an alternative (it’s not free anymore though).

    I never have worked with qtranslate – very likely you can insert the code in header.php after following code:

    <h2 class="logo <?php echo $logoclass; ?>"><a class='ie6fix' href="<?php echo get_settings('home'); ?>/"><?php echo $logo; ?></a></h2>

    Sorry is not clear to me , wich code, after i had to paste it?

    thanx

    You can insert your qtranslate lanuage selector code after the logo code I posted above. Search for following code line and insert your code after it:

    <h2 class="logo <?php echo $logoclass; ?>"><a class='ie6fix' href="<?php echo get_settings('home'); ?>/"><?php echo $logo; ?></a></h2>

    Another question

    In the qtranslate forum i’have read this.

    http://www.qianqin.de/qtranslate/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3

    So to remove bullet points, add this CSS line (to your theme’s style.css):

    CODE: SELECT ALL

    .qtrans_language_chooser { list-style-type:none }

    A Horizontal List can be made by adding this CSS line:

    CODE: SELECT ALL

    .qtrans_language_chooser li { float:left; margin-right:3px }

    A border around the flags can be added with:

    CODE: SELECT ALL

    .qtrans_flag { border:1px solid #b6b6b6 }

    Where can i put this code ?

    On safari i see the flag bug in firefox the flag are very closer

    Can i put the language chooser in other position ?

    At the and of the menu ?

    thanx fot the support

    Hey,

    you can insert the language switcher where you want by using following code – add it to the very bottom of style.css:

    .qtrans_language_chooser{
    position: absolute;
    top: 70px;
    right: 40px;
    }

    Adjust the top and the right value as you like. If you increase the top value the site switcher will move towards the bottom, if you increase the right value it will move towards the logo on the left.

    If played around a bit and this css code looks good to me – add it to the very bottom of style.css:

    .qtrans_flag {
    display: block;
    height: 12px;
    margin-right: 7px;
    width: 18px;
    }

    .qtrans_language_chooser {
    position: absolute;
    left: 50px;
    top: 90px;
    }

    I wouldn’t place the language switcher under the main menu. Maybe above it by using following code:

    .qtrans_flag {
    display: block;
    height: 12px;
    margin-right: 7px;
    width: 18px;
    }

    .qtrans_language_chooser {
    position: absolute;
    right: 70px;
    top: 0;
    }

    Last question

    How to Add on footer

    #44573

    Copy the language chooser code into footer.php (before the closing body tag) – it should look like:

    <ul class="qtrans_language_chooser" id="qtranslate-chooser1"><li><a href="http://www.visualproject.it/wp/?lang=it" hreflang="it" title="Italiano" class="qtrans_flag qtrans_flag_it"><span style="display:none">Italiano</span></a></li><li class="active"><a href="http://www.visualproject.it/wp/" hreflang="en" title="English" class="qtrans_flag qtrans_flag_en"><span style="display:none">English</span></a></li></ul><div class="qtrans_widget_end"></div>

    </body>

    Don’t forget to change the id of the chooser – i.e. I changed it from qtranslate-chooser to qtranslate-chooser1. Now add following code to style.css:

    .qtrans_flag {
    display: block;
    height: 12px;
    margin-right: 7px;
    width: 18px;
    }

    .qtrans_language_chooser {
    position: absolute;
    right: 70px;
    bottom: 0;
    }
