Hi, I noticed that you have a “RECENTLY ACTIVE” section at the bottom of the support page – https://kriesi.at/support/ – can you maybe tell me how you added it to that page and how I can do the same on my forum?

    Thanks.

    Hi DROR!

Try creating a new page and use the Widget Area element on it and then for your sidebar drag the “Recent Topics” widget to it.

    Cheers!

Thanks. Do you also know how I can change the default forum page that bbpress is using? It seems I can’t edit that default page and it would be great if I can use a custom page that I can edit as I please.

    Hi!

You can create a page and display your forum using shortcodes. Please see – https://codex.bbpress.org/features/shortcodes/

Hi Yigit, thanks for the quick reply. I saw the shrotcodes pages for bbpress but the problem i’m having is that I can’t figure out how to change the default page bbpress is using and change it to a custom page I made. Do you know how I can do that?

    Hey!

Please go to Settings > Forums and change the root as needed

I can only see the option to control the root slug – http://screencast.com/t/yF2bYeChVN – am I missing something?

    Hey!

Do you mind creating a temporary admin login and posting it here privately? Also, please point out your new forum page.

    Best regards,

Can you tell me what you did as I don’t see any changes in the settings.

    Hey!

I edited your forums page which was a draft. I changed the link from “forums” to “support” (which is set as root in Settings > Forums) and published your page.

    Cheers!
