    Hi
    My quick css is overriding my custom css for media queries. I know you don’t support media queries but can you just point me in a direction of what could be causing this?

    Hi Steven!

    Thank you for using the theme!

    Where are you adding the media queries? You can actually add the media queries at the very bottom of Quick CSS or custom.css.

    Hi Ismael
    I was adding them to the bottom of custom.css but they were not working. I was using the same css as two previous sites that I used choices on, so I don’t really understand what’s changed (except I haven’t updated those 2 and I’m using a different calendar plugin). Before I started the MQ’s I had a problem with the sidebar not showing and I’m wondering whether its all related. Yigit advised me to try one MQ in quick css and it did the job. I’m now having to do all the media queries in the quick css box rather than the custom.css which is not very convenient and no good for updates.

    As I understand it, custom.css should be overriding the quick css so something seems to be causing this to reverse?

    Kind regards

    Hi!

    Please make sure that you do not have any punctional error in your media queries. Make sure that they have all closing and opening curly brackets as following

    @media only screen and (max-width: 990px) and (min-width: 768px) {
    body {
    font-size: 16px; }
    }

    Hi Yigit

    I’ve checked a hundred times (well almost!) and can’t see any thing wrong, whats more if the punctuation was wrong, then when I cut and paste it into quick css then it wouldn’t work there either but it does so it must be good – is that right?
    Please help!

    Best regards

    Hey!

    Can you copy&paste the content of your Quick CSS and Custom.css file to http://pastebin.com/ seperately and post them here so we can check?

    Regards,
    Yigit
