    Searching for a way to have portfolio entries load randomly with each refresh of the home page. I’m using the dynamic template builder to include (4) portfolio entries in a (4) column format. Currently its set at showing the four newest posts based on post date.

    I’ve searched support and tried what has been done in other cases to achieve random portfolio entries without success.

    Open up wp-contentthemesangularincludesloop-index.php and replace:

    if(isset($avia_config['new_query'])) { query_posts($avia_config['new_query']); }

    if( isset($avia_config['new_query']) && (is_home() || is_front_page()) ) {
    $avia_config['new_query']['orderby'] = "rand";

    Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately on Safari it didn’t appear to do anything and on Chrome it jumbled the other template builder items on the page but did not make the portfolio entries randomized.

    I can’t share the site due to a non-disclosure but other possible solutions would be appreciated.

    Non-disclosures are tough unless its signed with the Stop Litigation Union or a minor. But I suppose luck won’t be on our side with that.

    Well you can try these plugins one at a time while we look at Plan B. (may be able to get around the 2 taxonomies bit , but interesting)
