If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I am really trying to eliminate the ‘Single-Page’ portfolio pages, well, eliminate people from being directed to them anyway.
On my Blog page, under the Recent Work Sidebar – http://www.benrobins.com/blog/ When a user clicks a project, they are directed to the Single Page version of that Project.
What I would really like is for the user to be taken to ‘Projects’ and have that specific project ‘Open Up’ on the same page as if they had clicked it on the Projects page themselves.
I love the theme but want to try and keep everything visible, all the time. Specific Project ‘Single Pages’ Don’t really allow me to achieve this at present.
I hope you can help,
Thanks in advance.
As far as I know this isn’t possible. There isn’t any kind of variable that can be passed via URL to tell the ajax portfolio which item is currently active.
Because of the way the widget is coded it isn’t really something that can be added to the widget code either. IE, you couldn’t change the widget links so that they all went to your portfolio page.
Aw that’s a shame.
Thank you for the explanation though, appreciate the response.
