Sorry but I am trying but have been unable to get anywhere. I am new to WP but have built and maintained my website for years using IWeb. I know that is for dummies but it worked. I wanted to graduate to a real website and I went with your theme. It is a real nice theme but with no docs on how to use it makes it a real issue for newbies.

I am trying to embed my video from my server and it is not working. I have spent hours here reading and have found many posts that are the same as mine and they have never been answered by support.

The biggest problem is I have read the docs included with the theme but it is nothing more than the brief text breakouts on the theme pages themselves with statements like “add your video here” without telling how to go about it.

I am sure your theme is a great time saver over building one from scratch but without documentation how to use is like spitting into the wind.

I have been playing around and finding out how to do some things but overall I am very dissatisfied with what I have so far.

I would gladly pay for a video or documented tutorial on how to use the theme if you would offer it. I just want to know how to make it work.

From what I see so far a user would have to have knowledge on coding or commercial website building to be able to use this theme.

    Am I wrong?

    Hi Cybor462,

First, I’m sorry you are having so much trouble. I know how hard it can be to learn a new framework/system. A great resource for WordPress in general is the WordPress.org website. It has a lot of literature on the basics of using WordPress as a CMS/Blog and can answer a lot of the basics like adding images and text to pages or posts.

Within the Upscale Theme itself, one of the easiest ways to really see how things are done with this theme is to use the “Import dummy data” feature in the main theme options. This will create pages(quite a few of them) and settings to mimic the way the site looks in the demo (at kriesi.at).

From this point, you can look at how each page is set up and extrapolate for your own website needs. If you have any other specific questions the support staff is here to try and answer as best we can.

    Regards,

    Devin
