    Hi, I am having problems with a hack on a website. I have replaced all original files but the wp-content folder and the database remain pretty much intact. A few entries (obvious ones) were removed from the db but its still relatively untouched.

    The hacks keep occurring and I must assume there is code somewhere in the site in the areas that have not been replaced and I must start from scratch again.

    How can I save my pages (assuming I will have to upload all images again and replace them) in order to rebuild this site from scratch? What is the easiest way so that I can completely erase the database and all the content folders files and start over. I would hate ti have to rebuild entirely but if thats the only way…

    I am hoping theres a way to save the basic structure and content outside of the dB relationships etc.

    Any help appreciated!

    Hey patricknh,

    You can try to use the Backupbuddy (plugin) to save a backup or contact your host provider and ask for a backup.
