Reducing Space in Brightbox Theme

I'm building a new site and I've created a template for the homepage.

I've having trouble reducing the space between the logo bar at the top and "view by area", between "view by area" and the rule line.

Then I want to reduce the space between the rule line and my accordion that I've programed as well as the bottom before the blog begins.

Below the code that I've used to create the accordion and put in as a text element in the template.

I want to reduce these spaces by at least half.

Any and all help is appreciated.

Try to add following code to css/custom.css:
```
.home .styled-border-small {
    height: 1px;
    margin: 0 auto 0;
}
```
