I’ve got an Easy Slider with multiple JPEGs and YouTube videos. Once the slider reaches the end of the queue, it loops all of the content again, like it should. Unfortunately, once a YouTube video has already played through once, it doesn’t know to restart it on any future loop arounds.

Is there a way to default all YouTube videos to restart every time the Easy Slider completes a cycle?

    Hey Jack!

    Thank you for using Enfold.

Are you saying you want the video to loop? You can enable the Loop Video Player option.

    Best regards,

I don’t want to loop the video and have the Easy Slider stop on that video forever. I’d like it to keep cycling, but when it does, the YouTube videos just show as black, because they’ve already played once.

    Hey!

I’m not sure if there’s an easy solution to this. I’ll ask the rest of the support team to check the thread.

    Best regards,

    Hey!

Yeah that would be pretty difficult. I suppose you could try reloading the slider when it gets done looping or interact with the video via javascript, https://developers.google.com/youtube/js_api_reference#Requirements, but either way is going to take a lot of time and code to implement.

I would consider creating a feature request, https://kriesi.at/support/enfold-feature-requests/, and if we get enough interest in it then we may see something get added in a future update.

    Cheers!
    Elliott
