How do I totally eliminate the ARCHIVE sidebar from appearing on any product or category related pages?

I have looked at the templates but the sidebar content seems empty? DO I need to edit code to remove them fully?

Hi simonwgoldsmith,

If you mean the default widgets that will show up, you just need to add an empty text widget to the sidebar in your widgets are and it will become empty.
