If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Good afternoon. We removed the logo from the header.php file and added a div layer for the logo. The client wants the logo to go over the header and the slider. It seems to all be working nicely, however it seems like there is a bar (the bar with the arrow for the menu select) going over the new layer. Can you advise on how we can remove that bar? We do not need the arrow select effect. Thanks, we are very happy with this theme.

Finally, I want to add a bg block color to the menu items. How would I go about doing this?
quick update… i edited the z-index of the layer and it seems to work. I am having trouble with dropdowns in internet explorer now, but that may have more to do with teh shrinking of the header
