    Is there a way to remove that bottom border on the mainpage? I’m referring to the same border that is generated when you type in “[hr]” when creating a page.

    This line is taking up a lot of space–I want to see how the mainpage would look like without it. Thanks!

    Hey,

    The CSS controlling the HR element (which created the line and spacing) is in style.css line 1457:

    .hr {
    clear: both;
    display: block;
    padding: 38px 0;
    position: relative;
    }

    You can adjust the padding to reduce the top / bottom spacing or change it to this to remove it entirely (this is a site wide change):

    .hr {
    clear: both;
    display: block;
    padding: 0;
    position: relative;
    height: 0;
    }

    Thank you so much James! I was able to remove the HR element.

    However, the space below the mainpage before the footer is still thick. How can I adjust or decrease this? Thanks!

    Hey,

    which space do you refer to? Do you mean the dark blue border?

    I mean the space between the text to the bottom edge of the mainpage, not the dark blue border. I just need to see if I could adjust/decrease that. Thanks a lot!

    Hey,

    If you mean this gap: http://cl.ly/0h0G2v3g2I280C3K291T

    The spacing is controlled by this code in style.css (around line 715):

    #footer_inside {
    clear: both;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 35px 0;
    }

    You can adjust the padding to adjust the gap at the bottom, currently the padding is set to 35px top and bottom. So to just change the bottom, you could use this code:

    #footer_inside {
    clear: both;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 35px 0 20px; /* top left/right bottom */
    }
