Remove comment function

   I'm not using the comment function so I would like to remove this totally in all post and portfolio posts. Can you tell me how to do this?

   So to remove the following below the horizontal line:
   Comments are closed.

   Hey!

   Open up single.php and delete following code:
   

   //wordpress function that loads the comments template "comments.php"
   				comments_template( '/includes/comments.php');
