    Hello

    I am having similar issues to a user in the ‘Angular’ forum and would also like to know if it possible to have the permanent links changed in Choices to link to a page as the thumbnail does.

    Thanks!

    Alex

    Hi,

    You can open includes > loop-portfolio.php and find this code.

    echo "<a href='".get_permalink()."' rel='bookmark' title='".__('Permanent Link:','avia_framework')." ".get_the_title()."'>".get_the_title()."</a>";

    You can either remove it or change it to a non-link text.

    Thanks for the quick reply,

    I’m sorry, I cannot find that line of code anywhere in the loop-portfolio.php file.

    Hi,

    My bad, just find this code instead.

    echo avia_title(array('class'=>'portfolio-title', 'html' => "<div class='{class} title_container'><h1 class='main-title'>{title}</h1></div>"), $the_id);

    Replace it with

    echo "<div class='portfolio-title title_container'>";
    echo "<h1 class='main-title'>";
    the_title();
    echo "</h1></div>";

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Aha, thank you!

    It would be also great to know if there is a way to have titles linking to pages like the thumbnails, if it’s not too much trouble :D

    Hi Tucksy_Turvy,

    Just replace the last code I gave you:

    echo "<div class='portfolio-title title_container'>";
    echo "<h1 class='main-title'>";
    the_title();
    echo "</h1></div>";

    With this code:

    echo "<div class='portfolio-title title_container'>";
    echo "<h1 class='main-title'><a href='your_url_here'>";
    the_title();
    echo "</a></h1></div>";

    Just replace the your_url_here with the right url. :)

    Thank you for all the help Ismael, I have one small problem with that last line of code, which is it will link to one page in particular. I would like the portfolio titles linking to different pages instead of one, please!

    Hi Tucksy_Turvy,

    Sorry about that. Now that I think about it, you can only set the link to your single blogpost by changing the last code I gave you to:

    echo "<div class='portfolio-title title_container'>";
    echo "<h1 class='main-title'><a href='<?php the_permalink(); ?>'>";
    the_title();
    echo "</a></h1></div>";

    However, if you want to manually choose the link, for example you set the href(link) to http://kriesi.at, all title when clicked will redirect to kriesi.at and the links will not vary. So, I don’t think it is possible to do it manually.

    Regards,

    Ismael
