    Hi,

    I would like to remove the rss icon, on the flashlight theme, and replace it by the vimeo one.

    Would you please give me the instructions on how to do it?

    Thank you, in advance.

    1) Insert following code into the quick css field and change the icon/image url. It must point to your vimeo icon.

    .social_bookmarks .rss a{background: transparent url(http://mywebbsite.com/vimeo.png) 0 0  no-repeat;}

    2) Open up sidebar.php, search for following code:

    echo "		<li class='rss'><a href='".avia_get_option('feedburner',get_bloginfo('rss2_url'))."'>RSS</a></li>";

    and replace it with:

    echo "		<li class='rss'><a href='http://vimeo.com/'>Vimeo</a></li>";

    and instead of http://vimeo.com/ insert your vimeo account url.

    Thank you Dude.

    Everything was going fine until the last part. I just “lost” the past two hours going crazy here.

    I followed your instructions but, whenever I clicked the vimeo icon, the site would freeze trying to open prettyphoto. After many unsuccessful tries with the code, I tried other urls besides vimeo´s at <li class=’rss’>Vimeo“;, and all other urls worked fine (ex: http://bloomberg.com/). This made me even more frustrated (please have in mind that I know little about code and programming) – it had to be a bug or something. Then, I thought of looking for any other reference to vimeo in other files of the website. I ended up finding what I was looking for in the avia.js file. Everything made sense then. I deleted a[href*=”vimeo.com”] from line 612 and the vimeo icon link is now working fine.

    I´m pretty sure there must be a simpler and better way to do this, without disabling the ability for Lightbox to play vimeo videos.. Would you please explain me what would this way be (I´m always trying to learn a bit more)?

    Thank you

    Hey!

    Ok, then use following code instead:

    echo "		<li class='rss'><a href='http://vimeo.com/' class='noLightbox'>Vimeo</a></li>";

    The noLighbox class will deactivate the prettyphoto lightbox for the vimeo link.

    Best regards,

    Peter
