    Hi,

    Is it possible to remove the little “no comments” and “catagory” tags at the top? The little ones just underneath the title.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

    open up single.php and delete following code:

    <div class="entry-head">
    <span class="comments"><?php comments_popup_link(__('No Comments','habitat'), __('1 Comment','habitat'), __('% Comments','habitat')); ?></span>
    <span class="categories"><?php the_category(', '); echo $terms; ?></span>
    </div>

    Hey sorry, I just noticed that fixes the pages themselves, but it doesn’t seemto be removing the tags from the news page that lists multiple articles

    I use the Flashlight theme and can’t find these line of codes either in single.php, index-php nor archive.php

    I would like to only remove the “0 comments” mark since i removed the commet function.

    Thanks

    Hi lotsdesign,

    Flashlight is a more recent theme so you would need to open loop-index.php located in flashlight/includes/ and remove the code below.

    <span class='text-sep'>/</span>
    <?php if ( comments_open() )
    {
    echo "<span class='comment-container minor-meta'>";
    comments_popup_link("0 ".__('Comments','avia_framework'),
    "1 ".__('Comment' ,'avia_framework'),
    "% ".__('Comments','avia_framework'),'comments-link',
    "".__('Comments Off','avia_framework'));
    ?>
    </span>

    If you need more help please start a new thread. I’m going to close this particular thread since it’s from a year ago and for a different theme.

    Thanks!

    Regards,

    Mya
