Remove top searchbar completely

Hello

I would like to know how to remove the top searchbar completely. This is for theme: NEWSCAST
The searchbar consists of a black area, a search field, and 3 social icons. They all need to be removed, since they are on top of my banner/logo.

I found some info in another thread, but that just removed the search field, the rest remains.

Hi Mick,

You'll need to add the following to the bottom of your style.css:
```
#headextras {
display: none;
}
```
That should do it :)

Hi Devin

The searchbar didnt seem to go away with this, maybe I did something wrong.

But I found a good way to minimize the layout and reposition it in the banner area.
The search results are very good, so I decided to keep it.
