Need to center text in footer

Okay, everything is out of the footer except the stuff at the bottom, i.e., copyright, blog name, etc.

Please tell me how to center whatever text is in the footer. Right now it's all aligned to the left

Thanks for all the help. This theme is coming together faster than I anticipated. The forum is a big help.

This is a two step process in style.css First open style.css and go to line 718 and remove

float:left;

Then go to line 714 and add this before the }

text-align:center;

Thanks. It worked. Copyright and site name are centered, and "top" moved to the right-hand margin.

However, I'm left with one character that is out of place.

Now reads:

"Copyright Site Name -"

That little dash ..."-"... at the end of the name is sticking out like a sore thumb.

Can you tell me where to find it to remove it?

It is probably in the HTML, check where you edited the text and look for it there.If you need more help let me have you're URL and I can look directly at the code.

Found it in footer.php. Deleted.
