    Hi,

    I have two questions:

    1) How to I completely remove the copywrite info in the sidebar.php file along with the RSS link (can you tell me the code in-point and out- point?) I tried commenting out the block of code (<? php // ?>) and that action removed the entire sidebar.

    2) I want to install an Appointment Calendar plugin recommended by WordPress to one of my sections. Can you tell me how I can do this? I tried creating a widget area in a column but cannot detect how to put the plug in there.

    Thanks for your help and for a great theme,

    Heathmedia

    Hi,

    1.) Just add this on your custom.css

    .copyright, .rss {
    display: none;
    }

    2.) Insert the Text widget, use the plugin shortcode.

    Regards,

    Ismael

    Thanks for your quick response, I really appreciate it — the CSS worked like a charm. The short code in the Text widget didn’t work at all — any tips? This is the plugin recommended by WordPress: http://wordpress.org/plugins/appointment-calendar/installation/

    This is my site: http://50.87.144.102/~dmcnally/

    Thanks,

    Strange plug in positioning 1) as you will see on the site (link in previous comment), the plugin went to the home page when I was trying to insert it on the final page “Book an Appointment” I placed the Text section below the last page 2) the plug-in link doesn’t work regardless. Any tips or pointers you might be able to give me would be appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    I visited your site, I think it worked. You just don’t have any appointments yet. Please add an entry.

    Regards,

    Hello,

    Thank you for your reply. For me, nothing happens at all when I click on the link so it does not appear functional to me. I will look into this further on the Plug In forum for the time being.

    Can you provide an explanation and give me guidance why the plug in is not appearing where I placed it in the Book An Appointment section (4th down), and instead appears at the top of the theme? I placed a text column in the Book an Appointment section, and added the short code there, so don’t understand why it is not appearing where I placed it.

    Thank you,

    Heath Media

    Hi,

    Your help has been amazing but I am still having difficulties with the functionality of the calendar. Is there an Appointment Calendar plug-in you can recommend for your theme that you know is compatible? I sent you an email about this as well — I’m a bit pressed for time.

    Thanks,

    Heathmedia

    Hey!

    Actually I already answered the mail :)

    No – I never tested/used such plugins. However you can try other plugins from the official wp repo: http://wordpress.org/plugins/search.php?q=Appointment

    Best regards,

    Peter
