If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Hello I am trying to remove a widget area that was added in the “CleanCut Options”/ “Sidebar & Footer”/”Extra Widget Areas for specific Categories” area.
The category that had been entered into this area was the FAQ category but we could not move the widget to the top like the client wanted.
I moved the FAQ category to the top in a standard widget but now I am unable to remove the widget area created in the CleanCut Options Area. You can see an example here: http://www.funsunmexico.com/blog/category/puerto-vallarta/to-do-in-vallarta/ I have tried removing all categories from the box on the Extra Widget Areas for specific Categories form and also removed all widgets from the widget area on the Appearance Widgets page.
I also tried changing to another widget in the area but no change and the FAQ category just keeps appearing on the bottom of the side bar.
Thanks for your help
