I'm looking forward to using UpScale, as it's the perfect theme for my site (and I've looked at several hundred).
I include an image in every post and page (somewhere in the content, often with captions). I am used to this automatically generating a thumbnail for excerpts. With the UpScale theme, I need to include the thumbnails manually, I guess, but I don't want this image to be above the title for a post or page (only somewhere in the content, and as a thumbnail for excerpts).
So, how do I include an image for a post or page so that it acts as a thumbnail for excerpts, and is an image somewhere in the content, but NOT as an image at the top of a post/page?
I am hoping that there is an option or step that I'm overlooking, because if you suggest that I alter a code somewhere, be prepared for the world-wide-web to crash.
Thank you for the help.
Oh, one more thing for now. I like the rectangle "text box" on the upScale demo site's home page. It has the words "Welcome to the upScale theme demo! this is a dynamic element!." How do I get that feature exactly as it's shown?
