Removing the icons next to "Date" and "Comments" links on homepage

Hi there,

On the homepage and category/archive pages, I want to remove the clock icon next to the Date text, and the speech bubble icon next to the Comments link. (I've removed the Author from appearing entirely).

I can't spot the right area of the CSS file to edit, what should I be changing? Thanks.

Hi!

You can use following css code:

.entry-head .date, .entry-head .comments {
background: none transparent;
}

I've added that code but the icons still appear. Any suggestions?

Hey jebz,

It just needs an important tag to take priority. I've also added some padding adjustment so that the date and comments align correctly:
```
.entry-head .date, .entry-head .comments {
background: none transparent !important;
padding-left: 0px;
}
```
