    Hi

    Please will you tell me how to remove the line after the woo commerce My Account etc menu and the main menu below?

    I assume it’s a bg img somewhere, but after 5 hours of trying to find it I give up.

    Help please

    thanks

    Hi!

    Can you post a link to your website please? I checked the demo: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/abundance/shop/ and I couldn’t find a line between the menus.

    Regards,

    Peter

    Hey!

    Add following code to css/custom.css:

    #wrap_all {
    box-shadow: none;
    }

    Best regards,

    Peter

    Thanks, that’s brilliant.

    Can you also tell me where to find the div that houses the main navigation – I’d like to remove the outer border.

    I can usually do better than this to find things in css but am finding this theme quite a challenge ..t.

    thanks for the help

    Hey Anna,

    This should do it:

    .main_menu {
    border: none;
    }

    Regards,

    Devin

    that does the trick, thanks.

    Can you help me with a couple of other things (i will be here all year otherwise …)

    1. where can i find the file that outputs the breadcrumb trail?

    2. where in teh css can i reduce the padding around the quote under the slideshow

    3. which file outputs the single product page of the shop and where is the css for it?

    What I mean by 3 is … is the layout for the woocommerce pages controlled by the plugin’s css or your theme’s css?

    sure there will be more questions but this should keep me quiet for a bit!

    many thanks for the help so far

    Hi Anna,

    For making customization to your theme’s CSS, we recommend that you install and get to know Firebug ( http://getfirebug.com/css ) and Google Chrome developer tools ( https://developers.google.com/chrome-developer-tools/docs/overview ) browser add-on. Firebug is a free web development tool that integrates into Firefox and Chrome browsers and assists in monitoring, debugging and editing of any website’s CSS, HTML, DOM, and JavaScript files.

    The CSS code is all over the place , in multiple files, and inline and creates a cascade based on the location of the selectors some are overridden while others are not. With FIrebug you can see live the entire css cascade and instantly make modifications and see the line number and file – location of every selector for each html tag.

    Watch this short video to learn the basics of Firebug – http://vimeo.com/20917974 – because without it your chances of success are close to zero.

    On that note, to answer :

    1) Breadcrumb -> /framework/php/class-breadcrumbs.php — unless you dream in php , editing that file is not recommended.

    2) The code below is the current padding. Change the 15 and 10 , and add it to Quick CSS.

    #top .advanced_blockquote {padding: 15px 0 10px 0;}

    3) I’ve made a 1 minute video with your site ( https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B8hqGBMSfHtKdDVnN0xGNVhzTms ) which answers this question while showing how I got the answer for the previous question as well.

    Thanks,

    Nick
