If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
Is it possible to remove the “Pages/Categories/Archive” list from the right of every page? We’re trying for a clean aesthetic and since it’s a corporate site (without a blog), it sort of clutters the pages. Also, with the list of pages at the top of the site, it just seems repetitive.
Is it possible to remove this?
Sure thing! In your Theme Options>Layout & Settings look for the option “Page Sidebar navigation”. Just change that to Don’t display the sidebar navigation.
I tried that and it’s still displaying it. Looking at the demo (http://www.kriesi.at/themes/coherence/welcome/#!prettyPhoto), I believe it is the Categories/Pages/Archives that would normally be in the footer section, but moved to the side of our pages when we disabled the footer section. I’m not sure if that’s what it is or how to fix it.
Just wanted to let you know that I’ve figured it out.
For those who may experience similar problems. Edit the theme settings as Devin mentioned above. If that doesn’t immediately remove them, edit each individual page. In the layout box on the right side of the screen (when editing Pages), select “No Sidebar” from that drop-down menu as well.
Thanks so much for your help!
