    Hello, when you click to view an image in the portfolio and it opens in lightbox format, the name of the imported image is displayed above the image. I would like to remove this.

    Hi!

    Do you want to open the image in a separate window, link to the post or remove the link altogether?

    Best regards,

    James

    Ok, you’ll need to use a custom field to accomplish this, and there are a number of steps to complete this correctly.

    1.) Open up /theme_options/portfolio.php and find this code:

    'supports' => array('title','thumbnail','excerpt','editor','comments')

    change it to:

    'supports' => array('title','thumbnail','excerpt','editor','comments','custom-fields')

    2.) Open up /template_portfolio.php and find this code:

    $prev_image = kriesi_post_thumb($post->ID, array('size'=> array($portfolioInfo[2],'_preview_medium'),
    'wh' => $k_option['custom']['imgSize'][$portfolioInfo[2]],
    'display_link' => array($openImage),
    'linkurl' => array ('XL','_preview_big'),
    'link_attr' => array('class'=>'preloading')
    ));

    and replace it with this:

    $ext_link = get_post_meta($post->ID, "ext_link", true);

    if($ext_link) {

    $prev_image = kriesi_post_thumb($post->ID, array('size'=> array($portfolioInfo[2],'_preview_medium'),
    'wh' => $k_option['custom']['imgSize'][$portfolioInfo[2]],
    'display_link' => array('none'),
    'linkurl' => get_post_meta($post->ID, "ext_link", true)
    ));

    } else {

    $prev_image = kriesi_post_thumb($post->ID, array('size'=> array($portfolioInfo[2],'_preview_medium'),
    'wh' => $k_option['custom']['imgSize'][$portfolioInfo[2]],
    'display_link' => array($openImage),
    'linkurl' => array ('XL','_preview_big'),
    'link_attr' => array('class'=>'preloading')
    ));

    }

    3.) For the Portfolio items you want to open as an external URL, add a custom field called ext_link and add the link here.

    If you don’t add a link, it defaults back to the standard functionality. :)
