open up portfolio.php (located in the folder theme_options) and replace:
$slugRule = 'portfolio';
$slugRule = 'services';
You maybe need to flush the permalinks – go to Settings > Permalinks and click on the save button.
Another Question, after I change the portfolio slug to “services”, existing pages that are not portfolio items but have “services” as a parent do not work.
http://www.rcgauto.com/services/ – a page with showing the portfolio items
http://www.rcgauto.com/services/car-shipping – a portfolio page works after the slug “services”
http://www.rcgauto.com/services/non-running-vehicles/ (non-portfolio page) stops working after I change the portfolio slug
Let me know if anything can be done, or will I have to choose a different slug ?
if you already use services for standard pages you can’t use this slug for the portfolio. WordPress can’t assign one slug to two different post types.
