    Hi guys-

I have an image I’m using as a placeholder for the portfolio grids. Some product photos we have, many we do not. I’ve tried to replace this image in the backend but the site is still using the old image. Cleared browser cache, doesn’t fix. I’m nervous about re-loading (or whatever it’s called) thumbnails, cause the last time I did that I lost the rollover graphic effect on these. Can you advise?

    Thanks

    Hi,

What do you mean by old image?

You can use your placeholder image as featured image for products without product photos.

You can safely regenerate the thumbnails using this: http://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/

    Regards,

Thanks. What is a “placeholder” image and where is it designated?

You can use following code: http://docs.woothemes.com/document/change-the-placeholder-image/ to change the woocommerce placegolder image. You can add it to the bottom of functions.php. Make sure that the image url is correct.
