Hi!

It is any way to insert page context text in the Woocommerce Shop Page? I have written the text in the page but it is not apprearing in the page, it directly shows the product loop.

Hi Marc,

I'm not quite sure what you mean. Are you trying to put text onto the main woocommerce catalog page (typically "shop")?

Yes, I'm trying to put some introduction text, before the products view, in the woocommerce catalog page, "the shop".

I try to do it by putting the text in the page that I have defined as the default base shop in woocommerce, but it does not appear.

Any ideas?

Hi Marc,

No not that I know of. WooCommerce completely ignores whatever content is on the "shop" page (templates, text, images etc) and just replaces it with the shop.

The category pages will output description text however.
