If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I love the Replete theme, but I’m not so fond of how when you hover over a product thumbnail, the Add to Cart and Read More buttons appear below it. I find that often times, if the user is near the bottom of the page, these buttons are hidden, and since you can’t just click on the product thumbnail to open the product details page, there is confusion about how to access the product.
I like how this works in abundance, where the add to cart and read more functionality appear over the top of the thumbnail, and you can also just click the thumbnail to bring up the product details page. Is there an easy way to replicate this in Replete?
If not, is there at least a way in which the customer can click on the thumbnail and have it bring up the product details page?
Yes, by default the image is a link to the product page in Replete.
On my site, clicking either the product image thumbnail or the text below it has no effect. The only way to get to the product page is to click the “Read More” button below. If I can’t replicate the Abundance hover states easily, can I at least enable this click action so users can just click the image or link to be taken to the product page?
Actually, I notice that if I double-click on the product image thumbnail, the page will open, but not if I single click. That’s weird…
