Looking for help with changing the CSS so that the main menu items are 2 lines (require English/French) - for clarity need the English text above the French text. Presumably the item height must be increased in CSS plus will need to wrap the text so that a "return" when entering the item name will force the second item of text down.
Support threads seem to hint that other people have done this but I am unable to find those threads.

The only way I know of doing that would be to go to the Appearance>Menus and open the main menu in the menus manager. For each menu item expand the options. Then for the Navigation Label field, you can add a break after the first word(s) and put your second line. For example the navigation label for my home link would be:
Home<br>Home2Regards,
