    Hi!

    When I re-size my browser to test for responsiveness, my slideshow background image zooms in until you only see the back of the laptop. This causes a problem especially for smart phones because you can only see the back of the laptop and nothing else in the background! How do I change it so that the background image shrinks instead of zooming in? My website is below for moderators:

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Shawn

    Hi Shawn!

    Try using this image as a Layer Image, not as a background.

    Josue,

    Would this increase the page load time?

    Regards,

    Hey!

    No, it would be the same. Don’t forget to clear the background setting of the LS.

    Best regards,
    Josue

    Got it, thanks! Now the text is hard to read on a smaller screen because it moved in front of the man’s face. Is there a way to keep the layers further to the right?

    Try centering it with a percentage value.

    Hi there!

    I went to the forum to post this problem I’m having, but I couldn’t find a button to make a post! I’m logged in but still don’t see it. My user name is shalin1589 and the email address associated with it is now (Email address hidden if logged out) . Please show me how to post to the forum!

    Or if you could help me with it here, I’d really appreciate it. My website coloraphoto.com has a black bar at the top but then when you scroll down the black bar goes away, but there’s a transparent gap between the top and the header. This all happened right after I updated the theme. Please help!

    Hey!

    you click on “Support” in the menu and then you choose your theme. After that you can search in the forum or scroll down to post a new thread.

    I can’t see any black bar on top of your website. Please show us a screenshot of the issue. Which browser are you using?

    Best regards,
    Andy

    I’m using Chrome. It’s visible on mobile as well. When you scroll down, the black bar goes away but there’s just a transparent gap between the top of the page and the header, as you can see from the second screen shot. I tried this on Explorer 11 and show the same thing.

    Hey sorry that link for the screenshots isn’t working for some reason. Try this one: http://imgur.com/a/HiXUI

    Hey!

    I can’t see any black bar at all:

    Does it happen only when you are logged in as an admin?
    Please try to clear your browser cache.

    Regards,
    Andy

    Ahhhhh! What is going on? I cleared my cache on Chrome, viewed it in incognito mode, and even tried Explorer 11 and Firefox which I NEVER use and I still see the black bar up top. I even tried viewing on a coworkers computer too and same thing. Could you try using a different browser?

    Sorry I forgot to answer your question, yes it happens when I’m logged out of WordPress.

    Hey!

    Looks like it is coming from an iframe named google_conversion_frame. You can move the whole container upwards with this:

    .html_stretched #wrap_all {
    margin-top: -29px;
    }

    Cheers!

    Hi!

    Where do I place this code?

    Thanks,

    Shawn

    #366483

    Hi!

    You can add it on the Quick CSS field or the custom.css file.

    Regards,
    Ismael

    Hey Ismael,

    That didn’t seem to work. I pasted the code into the quick css field and checked it out on Chrome, Firefox, and Explorer after clearing the cache. Still having the same issue.

    Seems to be working now. Thanks!
