Restoring "Author"

   when I first set up my site I was the only one writing so I removed the author tag. Now however I have multiple authors and would like to reinstate this but cannot remember whether I removed or added some code to make the author disappear.

   Can you please tell me how to reinstate the author code so the name appears at the top or the article only.

   Hi!

   In style.css replace following code:

   .entry-head, .entry-head a, .entry-bottom, .entry-bottom a{
   display: none !important;
   }

   with:

   .entry-bottom, .entry-bottom a{
   display: none !important;
   }

   Hi Peter... apologies, I posted this question under Newscast (I use this template on another site I have) instead of under Shoutbox which is the template I need to update. Maybe that explains why I could not find any reference to the code you mention above. My site is http://www.chattybrains.com

   Is it a different fix?

   Hi Angelina,

   Try adding this adding this code in wp-content/themes/shoutbox/css/custom.css:
   

   .blog-meta .blog-author {
   display: inline;
   }

   or this one, if the code above doesn't work:
   

   .blog-meta .blog-author {
   display: inline !important;
   }
