Confession: I vaguely remember wantonly deleting lines of code a few months back (while in a WordPress induced stupor) when I decided I didn’t care to have breadcrumbs showing on content pages and subpages of my site. Unfortunately, I can’t remember what I deleted or where I deleted it from.

Now, I have WooCommerce installed, and I am quickly realizing how nice it would be to have those helpful little breadcrumb links showing on my product pages.

I humbly request help in fixing my reckless mistake with the breadcrumbs. How do I enable breadcrumbs ONLY on WooCommerce pages like shop, categories, and individual products, while still keeping them off my content-focused pages?

Thanks all. I will try to be a more responsible deleter in the future. :(

    Hi PearlsIntl,

The easiest way to do it would be to just re-install the theme files on top of itself again. Then use css to hide the breadcrumbs on page and only show them on woocommerce pages.

That way you also get the SEO benefits of the breadcrumbs as well.

    Hi Devin,

what is the usual way to enable inherent breadcrumps in propulsion (without plug-in)? I can’t find it in the theme nor in the documentation.

    Hi Frank,

I think I incorrectly saw this as using Abundance as Propulsion does not have breadcrumbs. I apologize for the misunderstanding but thank you for pointing it out as this would probably be quite confusing.

Ok, so just to clarify, there’s no way to use breadcrumbs in Propulsion and reinstalling theme files will not do anything. Right?

Maybe I’m remembering deleting something else that was important… o.o

Yes that is correct. Sorry for the confusion! You could use somehing like Yoast’s breadcrumbs or any other plugin that builds them and has a php hook you can manually add in however.

    Ok, thank you. No problem.
